Nanda Gunnink (Duijndam), draws on her journalism background in TV, fashion, photography and radio to create compelling visual stories for Australian brands, organisations and startups. She moved to Australia in 2012 to pursue her storytelling career as a foreign news reporter.
Nanda has a passion for telling stories and started Studio Orange in 2014. As a Creative Director, Nanda oversees all projects the Studio Orange team is involved in. She’ll also tell anyone that will listen about Dutch sayings and their meaning.
Simon is a CPA with over 27 years commercial experience and a passion for building and developing creative and technology based ventures. Moving to Perth in 2007 he has been involved with a number of successful new businesses.
Understanding the importance of video in an online context, he has played a key role in developing the commercial model for Studio Orange with Nanda. He focuses on corporate strategy and business development, and is also responsible for the financial and administrative aspects of the business.
Oliver has a background in a range of industries from hospitality to customer service and sales. He is passionate about building ongoing relationships with clients, and finding the best and most creative solutions for clients needs. Oliver joined the Studio Orange team in January of 2018 with the desire to help Studio Orange grow and progress to the next level. He works next to the production team to make sure clients get the best possible outcome and experience when working with our crew.
Next to his passion for Business Development he’s also a great addition to any quiz-night table as he’s full of useless knowledge and facts.
Adam is a skilled motion graphics artist and 2D animator. After completing his Digital Design degree at Curtin, he worked as a freelance designer for a number of local businesses around Perth.
For over a year, Adam has been working as an animator and editor for Studio Orange, telling stories through video and motion graphics. He enjoys bringing the vision of clients to life, using his skills to add colour, movement and sound to the projects he works on.
Ben is the lead videographer and editor for Studio Orange. He overlooks scripts and storyboards, implements creative ideas and sets the scene on film locations. Ben ensures that the visual content of each project aligns with its message.
In his most recent roles he filmed and produced captivating, high quality visual content for National television programmes featured on the BBC such as Blue Peter, The One Show, Rip off Britain, Racing Legends, A Question of Sport and many more. He moved to Australia in 2015 and has worked with Seven West Media as a video producer before joining the Studio Orange team.
Rachel brings a wide perspective and visual creativity to crafting stories at Studio Orange. She graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Arts, Digital Design in 2016 and has since worked with several production companies. She joined the Studio Orange team in February 2018 as designers and animator.
Bella is a bright and exciting addition to the Studio Orange. She recently graduated with distinction from Iona Presentation College and received the prize for Media and Analysis. This prize was recognition for the many hours of focus and dedication to the original short film production of Impediments of the Mortal Mind which Bella independently wrote, filmed, directed, edited and produced.
Bella has a passion for storytelling and has developed a love for exploring and expressing that passion through film and media. Bella is currently working with Studio Orange as the lead editor of the web series Stories Out Loud. Her role as Junior Editor has provided a fantastic springboard to experience the industry and confirm her desire to continue studies at Curtin University in 2018.
